We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Laundry Team Leader to support the Laundry Supervisor in managing daily laundry operations. This role combines technical expertise in stain removal and chemical handling with practical leadership to ensure efficient production, consistent quality and a safe working environment that underpins exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations: coordinate workflow, assign tasks and meet production targets
  • Operate and oversee industrial equipment: washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers
  • Train and develop attendants in sorting, fabric care, chemical handling and stain removal
  • Perform stain removal and apply appropriate chemical treatments
  • Inspect finished items to ensure premium cleanliness and presentation
  • Manage linen logistics: trolley preparation, distribution and stock control
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised laundry area
  • Proven experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Washman in a commercial or hotel laundry
  • Hands‑on experience operating industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers
  • Advanced knowledge of stain identification and chemical stain‑removal techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Strong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality control
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts across a 7‑day rotating roster
