Late Night/Overnight Cook

As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests.  ​

We are looking for people who have late night and overnight availability. Shifts may be either 5pm-1am, or 10pm-6am. Please feel free to outline in your application whether these shifts suit.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have: 

• Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment 
• Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience 
• Good understanding of food safety concerns 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
