Job description
Project Process Description:
The main idea of the project is to provide interactive panoramas from street-level positions worldwide. It includes building, testing, deploying, and maintaining imagery hardware and sensors used on various platforms.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct trade and regulatory research for international shipments
- Work with 3rd party vendors
- Audit shipping documents for FCPA and Anti-Bribery compliance
- Communicate with brokers and external stakeholders
- Ensure imports/exports are compliant in collaboration with Legal and Tax
- Provide clearance instructions and address problem shipments
- Verify all commercial shipping documents (STOs)
- Commercial Invoices (CI)
- Packing Lists (PL)
- Airway Bills (AWB) — within 24 business hours
- Input order forms into internal systems
- Support Tax and Customs audits with Legal
- Coordinate with Client Trade Compliance and 3PLs
- Perform due diligence on external partners
- Manage PII and Denied Party Screening requests
- Maintain performance reports for brokers
- Resolve or escalate customs-held inbound shipments
- Research compliance requirements in emerging markets
Review/approve:
Client-Facing & Strategic Responsibilities:
- Act as primary client and logistics contact
- Advise on customs clearance, classification, valuation, and regulations
- Summarize regional compliance performance metrics
- Help produce MBRs and QBRs (Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews)
- Track and manage action items from reviews or client requests
- Own communication with client program managers
- Ensure internal adherence to client-specific processes
- Conduct weekly meetings with client managers
- Provide shipment updates and proactive delivery tracking
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Experience: 5+ years in logistics, trade compliance, regulations, inventory, or warehouse management
- Domain Experience: 5+ years in Hardware Operations
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, stock management, and forecasting
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all business levels
- Knowledge of trade compliance rules and regulations
