About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive CNC laser operator to join our afternoon shift, working Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am (40 hours per week, full-time).

The role includes an initial training period on day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, to build capability as a Laser Operator (up to 3 months). Depending on progress, the successful candidate may transition to the afternoon shift earlier.

In this role, you will:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC laser machines
  • Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure production quality and accuracy meet established standards
  • Complete documentation to an intermediate level of detail and accuracy
  • Work independently, managing your workload and meeting deadlines effectively

Requirements

  • CNC laser experience
  • Overhead crane and/or forklift experience preferred (training available)
  • Full driver licence (F‑endorsement an advantage)
  • Strong health & safety focus
  • Good attention to detail and work ethic
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Physically fit and reliable
