Landfill Scale Attendant

As a Scale Attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are:

• Operate the weight-station scale (Operating hours from Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm)

• Entering appropriate data into our computer system

• Communicate with drivers, through speaker system, to determine type of material being dumped, etc.

• Directing trucks to the appropriate location on site

• Process payment from customers, as needed

• Other job-related duties as needed

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs (Saturday 8AM to 1PM)

• Must be able to remain seated for extended periods

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment verifications

• Some previous admin experience
