Job Description:

Land Surveyor

Abu Dhabi, UAE
 

Parsons is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to support major infrastructure and enabling works projects in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will perform field surveys, setting-out, verification, and as-built surveys to ensure construction is executed accurately and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review drawings and documents related to the works.

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations; supervise survey-related activities on site.

• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.

• Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.

• Carry out setting-out, level checks and verification of service locations to ensure protection of existing utilities.

• Operate and maintain survey equipment including Total Station, GPS and levelling machine and data collectors.

• Prepare sketches to support the fieldwork. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations). 

• Measure work done when required and support progress/quantity verification.

• Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and HSE requirements.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or related discipline.

• Minimum 7 years of land surveying experience, preferably on infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Total Station and Microsoft Office.

• Strong knowledge of surveying methods, setting-out and infrastructure construction.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure developments in Abu Dhabi.
