THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Laboratory Technician, you will join our UKAS accredited laboratory and play a key role in supporting the calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systems used across aerospace, heat treatment and industrial markets. You will work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Laboratory to maintain the highest standards of quality, technical accuracy and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systems
• Support the maintenance of UKAS accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with approved procedures
• Produce accurate calibration certificates and reports
• Maintain calibration and test records
• Support product qualification testing and auditing activities
• Follow laboratory procedures, specifications and applicable standards
• Support continuous improvement activities within the laboratory

ABOUT YOU

Essential:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in temperature measurement, calibration or a related technical field
• Experience conducting testing and calibration activities
• Knowledge of thermometry principles and temperature measurement systems
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation
