Laboratory Specialist

Tagaddod is looking for a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will conduct various tests, analyze results, and ensure that laboratory operations comply with safety and quality standards. As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting our research and development efforts, contributing to the development of sustainable solutions to waste management.

Responsibilities

• providing the data of quantity and quality Q&Q of incoming and stored and outgoing of different raw materials like (Used Cooking Oil/ SoapStock acid oil, Palm Oil Mill Effluent POME,....)
• Operating testing and quality control on the raw material
• Documenting quality results and creating testing reports
• Maintain and Keeping lab inventory
• Engaging in new projects for product development and Research of advanced methods for testing
• Addressing and discussing issues and proposing solutions with superiors
• Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed
• Making recommendations for improvement
• Creating training materials and operating manuals

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Lab Specialist or similar role.
• Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance. Experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
• Education Required: Associates degree in a science-related field preferred, 
• Excel skills, Microsoft office, Strong verbal and written communications skill

* This position requires a lot of travelling, owning a car & a driving license is a plus.
