Laboratory Assistant

We are currently seeking Laboratory Assistant to join our diverse and dynamic team.

• Work location: Loyang office-based (30 Loyang way, Unit 02/12-15, Singapore 508769

• Working hour: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. / 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday subject to changes based on operational needs

• Public holiday rotational shift depends on team roaster.

• Public holiday rotational shift will be compensated as per Ministry of Manpower rules and regulations for any Public Holiday duties

The role:

• Monitoring samples/Troubleshooting discrepancies.

• Consolidating created samples/containers (i.e. slides, blocks, reports, etc.)

• Searching and retrieving documents and samples.

• Performing data entry/Monitoring e-mails and various correspondences.

• Checking that slides/blocks are properly barcoded and labeled.

• Assisting the pathologists with the technical/clerical work.

• Monitoring reagent/QC/calibrator stocks.

You will need:

• You will possess a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or diploma along with 1 year of related experience in a Clinical Laboratory.

• You will have basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office along with excellent written/verbal communication skills, the ability to handle large work load demands and trouble shoot issues timely when required.

• Exhibit appropriate time management skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to keep accurate, legible records and recognize the need to handle these records and all other information in line with GCP/GLP/GDP.
