Job Summary
Act as first point of contact for General Agency point of sales representative and back-office personnel.Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Build application records electronically as required for all general agency submitted applications.
- Manage paperwork submission from the general agency to the compliance unit for Financial Advisors (FA)
- Update records as case progresses, completing follow up to inquiries to and from the general agencies.
- Assist with management of SLA and cycle times for all cases
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work somewhat independently within a teamwork framework
- Keyboard and PC proficiency, accuracy and speed.
- Ability to learn quickly, both processes and systems
- Proficient with analytics
- Understanding of privacy regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA and PHI
- Knowledge of and compliance with insurance regulations including E&O
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication and phone presentation.
- Dependability and punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job may be located in an environment with ringing phones, conversation, or customer contact.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some standing or filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files weighing no more than three pounds, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool (no higher than nine inches) as necessary.
