[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern,Solar O&M (Jan - May 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible in the following: Perform analytical monitoring on real-time solar systems using SCADA to maximize energy yield, detect hidden faults and optimize performance. Assist Maintenance Engineer to develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment, including scheduling preventive maintenance and coordinating corrective maintenance activities. Maintains detailed records of unplanned outages, maintenance activities, and incidents. Prepare regular reports on O&M activities, performance metrics and total energy generation for stakeholders. Propose enhancements to monitoring systems and O&M documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), Method of Statement & Risk Assessment (MS&RA), Emergency Response Plan (ERP) etc. Learning Outcomes: Support the engineering team in the operation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role offers hands‑on exposure to solar technology, system monitoring, and energy efficiency practices, while providing opportunities to learn from experienced engineers.
