Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible in the following: 'Assist in operationalizing the Data Governance Policy, Standards. • Represents Data as an Asset culture, works in partnership with business and IT teams and to: a) identify data that is important for Keppel (CDE/KDE). b) implement the Data Quality framework. • Support the preparation and publishing training material, documentation for varied Data Governance topics (e.g., Classification, Data Dictionary, Glossary, Lineage, Data Quality, etc.). • Gathering, evaluating and unifying requirements from key stakeholders (internal to D&D or Keppel-wide); to developing solutions to defining performance indicators and quality metrics. • Assist in implementing diverse automation initiatives for current processes, such as chatbot, e-checklist, etc. Learning Outcomes: '• Hands-on experience on Enterprise documentation: IT/Data Policy management, such as creating, implementing, and maintaining policies within the organization. • Providing insights and recommendations on data management to the operations teams. • Working in partnership with business teams and IT teams to identify opportunities to source and utilize data that can drive growth and productivity • Experience working on real-time projects in a challenging environment for a multi-national company. • Working and building relationships in a multicultural team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate or Masters student pursuing a degree in course of study as listed. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of international security standards such as ISO27001, ISO27701, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and OWASP will be advantageous. • Knowledge in MS productivity tools, Gen AI tools, SQL or Python. •Problem-solving aptitude, Strategic and critical thinking mindset with ability to articulate concepts, strategies, and challenges to business and technology teams. •Excellent communication and presentation skills. •Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI). •Understanding of data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake).
