[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Business Development, Cooling (Jan - May 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible in the following: Support the business development function, including sales, marketing, financial modelling, presenting proposals, and negotiating commercial and contractual terms Understand customers’ needs by studying site information, conducting site walks and keep abreast of latest regulatory requirements Work with Engineering and Design, Project Development and Operation colleagues to prepare quality technical proposals Develop financial models and structure commercial proposals for customers Deliver clear and effective presentations to internal stakeholders Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time Learning Outcomes: •Gain insights in the energy and sustainability sector •Involved in different stakeholders from various sectors including commercial, industrial and public •Apply engineering concepts with hands-on experience to develop green end-to-end business solutions •Cultivate teamwork, leadership, communication and negotiation skills which are essential skillsets for navigating today’s business world •Experience working with a team of professional and dedicated staff in an established engineering company with more than two decades of track records

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing Degree in Engineering preferred or Degree in Business with a Diploma in Engineering • Keen interest in sustainability in the built environment • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Self-motivated and good team player
