Pay Range: CHF83,000 - CHF 132,980

Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to participate to the development of the backend of our digital pathology software. The job involves contributing to the architecture evolution, optimization of the image rendering and analysis, and collaborating with other engineers and scientists in the R&D department.

Role/Responsibilities

  • This position reports to the: Computer Vision Team Leader
  • Development of the digital pathology image analysis backend software
  • Optimization of image rendering and navigation
  • Participation to the image analysis workflow architecture
  • Contributing to software QA activities such as unit testing, architecture documentation, integration, and system testing.

Required qualifications

  • BsC/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent in professional experience
  • 1+ years of experience of object-oriented programming in C++ and/or Python
  • Experience with OpenGL and/or Qt is a plus
  • Experience in computer vision / image processing is a plus
