Junior SAP tester

Our Client is Auckland CBD based involved in a large conversion project

The focus of this position is to Test CRM customisation and data in SAP as part of a multi-resource validation team. The duration of the role is 6 months from early December. This work is associated with a multi-phase project related to conversion data and new system implementation. This role will involve quickly coming up to speed with the established data validation process. The resource selected will work as part of a fast-paced project team with resources located in CBD.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months Projects

• Validates data from source to target (SAP CRM) by using Excel and several core transactions in the SAP FICO module.
• Intermediate Excel experience required.
• Experience with test management tools like HP Quality Center / ALM is required.
• Exposure to SAP preferred.
• Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and iterative approaches like Agile / Scrum.
• Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT audiences.
• Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams.
• Consistently delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Independently develops key deliverables and publishes without supervisor review.
• Proactively applies a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in testing / QA.

1. Past working experience on Government projects advantageous
2. Experience in Quality centre
   
3. Develop test cases
4. Manual and/or Automated Test Execution.
5. Load and execute test cases using issues management software and produce reports to enable issue prioritisation (HP Quality Centre)
6. The role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP expertise
7. Exposure to business transformation projects will be an added advantage
8. Candidate should be self-driven and must possess excellent communication skills.
