Junior Product Owner-Fintech

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Product Owner with a Finance, Accounting, Investment, or Business background and a strong interest in technology. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology by translating business needs into clear product requirements while working closely with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog management and prioritization.
• Work closely with development teams during sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
• Participate in product discovery, user acceptance testing (UAT), and product validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Support product documentation, release notes, and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment, Economics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Financial Technology.
• Good understanding of financial products, investment concepts, or capital markets.
• Strong interest in software products and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, or system integrations is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Asset Management, Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Investment platforms.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of UML, BPMN, or process modeling is a plus.
