Job description

Develop daily and weekly master production schedules based on capacity and demand (from SIOP forecast loaded).
Release of work-orders, the staging of materials, the printing of production papers. 
Balance labor and machine availability to optimize throughput and related costs. 
Manage customer order portfolios, prioritization and backlogs. 
Analyze MRP messages and resolve shortages or delays. 
Data Analysis: Monitor and deliver against performance KPIs, particularly quantities leaving production / arriving at service centers as scheduled. Updating the system with accurate data (e.g. leadtime).
Inventory Management: Optimize inventory level and related cost elements (e.g. provision) for all relevant items.
Inventory mgmt: Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet local demand without overstocking.
Compliance: Ensure all intralogistics activities comply with safety regulations and standards (e.g. Safety, SBS, SIOP).
Process Improvements: Work to identify and adopt changes to the system and process to enable efficiencies and standardisation. Escalate through the escalation process if data input is incomplete or inaccurate to ensure gap in processes are addressed.
