Are you a motivated junior engineer with a passion for mechanical design? We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Porcari. In this role, your main focus will be on 3D design and technical documentation, supporting the improvement and development of our pneumatic and hydraulic actuator product range.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and cross‑functional teams, developing your technical skills while contributing to real projects in a supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create 3D models and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, Inventor).
    • Produce detailed drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
    • Assist in updating, modifying, and improving existing product designs.
    • Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities under supervision.
    • Perform analytical mechanical calculations using engineering formulas (dimensioning, structural checks, pressure-related analyses).
    • Help investigate design issues and participate in basic problem-solving tasks.
    • Follow internal design standards and contribute to good engineering practices.

    Requirements

    • Educational background or initial experience (internship/placement) in mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering.
    • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools.
    • Experience in creating and managing BOM structures.
    • Interest in mechanical systems and technical product development.
    • Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
    • Familiarity with R&D or New Product Development processes is a plus, but not required.
    • Hands-on attitude and interest in following machines through the manufacturing process.
