Junior Java developer (Spring/Hibernate)

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with experience in the Spring framework, Hibernate, and MySQL to join our dynamic team at Shelvz. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. Angular knowledge is a plus, as it will enable you to contribute to full-stack development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring framework, and Hibernate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of the software.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented principles.
• Experience with the Spring framework (Spring MVC).
• Proficiency in Hibernate for ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
• Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational database management systems.
• Experience with frontend technologies like Angular is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
