Junior Design Engineer (Structures)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design and analysis of water supply infrastructure components under rural drinking water supply schemes.
• Prepare structural design calculations, reports, drawings, and detailing for various project components.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and design documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Support senior engineers in design optimization and value engineering exercises.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure integration of structural designs with overall project requirements.
• Assist in site inspections and provide technical support during construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, safety requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Support preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain design documentation and contribute to project progress reporting.
