Junior Accountant

In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an Junior Accountant.

Position Summary

The Junior Accountant supports the accounting team in performing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.

Main Responsibilities

The list of essential functions, responsibilities & duties are not limited to the list below and there might be additional ones according to operational needs.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities.
• Record accounting transactions, including expenses, supplier invoices, and fixed asset entries.
• Assist with the accounts payable process, including routing invoices for internal approval and ensuring timely payments.
• Assist with monthly suppliers’ reconciliation
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Support the preparation and submission of myDATA records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
• knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and myDATA requirements.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other ERP accounting software (Entersoft-Pylon)
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
