Job Title: Junior L2 Support Engineer – HFM (PowerShell / Azure)

Role Overview

Ascendion is hiring a Junior L2 Support Engineer with experience in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), PowerShell, and Azure. The role involves supporting financial applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for HFM applications
• Assist in installation, configuration, and environment setup
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems
• Support scripting and automation using PowerShell
• Monitor and support Azure environments (VMs, deployments)
• Ensure system performance and availability
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Collaborate with L1, DevOps, and Infra teams
• Support month-end and year-end financial cycles
• Maintain documentation and SOPs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Application/Production/Infrastructure Support
• Hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of financial systems and reporting workflows
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork

Good to Have

• Exposure to Oracle Hyperion Suite
• Basic knowledge of cloud and automation
• Experience supporting financial applications
