Role Overview
Ascendion is hiring a Junior L2 Support Engineer with experience in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), PowerShell, and Azure. The role involves supporting financial applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for HFM applications
- Assist in installation, configuration, and environment setup
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems
- Support scripting and automation using PowerShell
- Monitor and support Azure environments (VMs, deployments)
- Ensure system performance and availability
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Collaborate with L1, DevOps, and Infra teams
- Support month-end and year-end financial cycles
- Maintain documentation and SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Application/Production/Infrastructure Support
- Hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of financial systems and reporting workflows
- Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork
Good to Have
- Exposure to Oracle Hyperion Suite
- Basic knowledge of cloud and automation
- Experience supporting financial applications
