Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough validation of form, fit, and function for newly introduced products (NPI).
• Evaluate and qualify parts and assemblies sourced from new vendors.
• Perform rigorous prototype testing to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Identify potential failure scenarios and conduct failure mode analysis to enhance product reliability and durability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to implement effective corrective actions.
• Document and report findings clearly and concisely, providing actionable recommendations.
• Assist with projects and test setups in the R&D yard. Conduct testing in the yard or at project sites and collect relevant data.
• Review installation manuals and procedures to ensure product compliance.
•  Replicate customer-reported issues in the R&D yard for troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in product validation, prototype testing, and failure analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of product design validation processes, tools, and standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in the solar industry or similar fields would be advantageous.
