Journeyman HVAC Installer

Essel is seeking a skilled Journeyman HVAC Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in diverse conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems according to industry standards and specifications.
• Sheet metal and duct installation; run copper, brazing and hanging pipe
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure jobs are completed on schedule.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to local building codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in HVAC installation and service.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigerants, and electrical components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying physical conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
