We don’t separate our consultancy work from our delivery work. We need developers who are able to have a holistic approach, who can be objective, and consultants who thoroughly understand technology.

Therefore we are looking for a versatile technologist at heart with a strong entrepreneurial mind that would like to be part of the OCTO adventure in Australia.

Missions

Depending on the scope and nature of our projects you will work directly at the customer’s premises or alternatively with the rest of the team at our office in Sydney. We rely on teams with consistent thinking, who are multi-talented, mixing interpersonal skills with savoir-faire to work towards a shared vision.

Ideal candidate

You have at least 3 years experience in software development and you are expert in at least one specific programming language. We will consider both experienced and senior profiles.

Good presentation skills and English proficiency are both a necessity.

On the technical side, if you are up-to-date with agile methods and one of the following technologies, this is a big plus: java, scala, ruby, javascript, ansible, puppet, spark, node.js, react.js, angular.js, hadoop…

More generally, you are a fast learner, fitted with a proactive mind, are autonomous in you work and really want to jump on board!
