About the Role

As a Java Developer, you’ll collaborate on mission-critical platforms by creating and enhancing innovative features. You’ll design scalable systems, optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and develop high-quality software solutions that meet deadlines while working on impactful backend technologies and new tools driven by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop features and enhance functionality on advanced platforms.
  • Adapt and extend reusable components and libraries.
  • Aid with software rollout and production support.
  • Propose and implement ideas for system improvements.
  • Design or upgrade software to meet quality and performance goals.
  • Build scalable solutions to optimize data communication and backend processes.
  • Collaborate on enriching data with insightful correlations and enhancing user tools.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8-10+ years of Core Java development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong experience with building high-throughput, low-latency, multithreaded systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and synchronization techniques.
  • Expertise in Microservices architecture, Java Spring framework, and REST/websocket APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google, or Azure.
  • Background in working with Oracle, PL/SQL, Cassandra, Redis, or Kafka is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills for issue troubleshooting.
  • Expertise with performance-oriented system development principles.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, XML.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with financial trading platforms.
  • Skills in JavaScript development or Docker.
