1.            Title = Java Architect/Developer

2.            Project Description = This person will be part of the DataGrid team supporting the BOB and Resiliency initiatives within Comcast,

which is aimed at improving the stability of several key systems through a combination of tactical improvements, system consolidation and re-architecture for future scale and extensibility.

Within this large initiative, the Java Architect/Developer will be responsible for enhancing the Data Grid platform which provides micro services

built on open source, Cloud-based technologies and leverages an In-memory Data Grid

 

3.            Skills

o             Java Architecture and Development - Senior level proficiency with:

•             Jav

•             REST/SOAP web services

•             Spring (Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Stream)

•             Hazelcast/GemFire/Coherence (Hazelcast preferred)

•             Hibernate/JPA

•             Relational database development (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)

•             NoSql (Couchbase/Cassandra/MongoDB)

•             Maven

•             Subversion

•             GIT

•             AWS

•             Micro Services

 

o   A working knowledge of one or more of the following would be an advantage:

•             WebLogic

•             Apache Tomcat

•             AppDynamics
