Item Master Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

Use database to create and maintain items in the item master.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create part numbers for new purchased and in-house manufactured items.
• Maintain the database for accuracy and update changes as needed.       
• Item cost maintenance
• Item planning maintenance
• Item inventory maintenance
• Item-site maintenance for all of the above
• Item status maintenance
• Supplier item maintenance
• Compliance information maintenance
• Where used maintenance
• Submit parts listings for IMDS tracking
• All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Detail oriented
• Demonstrate competency with current office technology including Excel and QAD database.
