We are looking for an IT Team Lead to join our team in Zabierzów (Poland).

 

What you would do as our IT Team Lead with line responsibility

As an IT Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating IT projects and tasks, driving technical changes, and ensuring high-quality IT services that support R&D project teams. You will provide technical guidance, strategic direction, and infrastructure oversight to ensure seamless IT operations. This position includes line responsibility for Polish part of the team.

 

You would also:

• Coordinate IT projects and tasks, balancing practical execution and strategic planning.

• Provide technical guidance to team members and oversee infrastructure, architecture and solutions.

• Drive technical enhancements to align R&D IT deliverables with project teams' needs.

• Collaborate with project owners and technical leads to identify and implement IT improvements.

• Ensure quality monitoring of R&D IT services and oversee project cost control.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:

• Has 7+ years of experience in at least two of the following areas: Networking, Security, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or similar infrastructure-related domains.

• Has previous leadership experience, either through direct people management or leading teams/projects in a matrix environment.

• Has strong knowledge of IT service management and delivery, including incident management, problem management, service delivery, and service quality management.

• Experience working with Agile and ITSM frameworks, particularly Scrum, Kanban, and ITIL.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and Polish, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing IT projects by balancing various needs and finding common solutions. With a strong ability to assess challenges, collaborate across teams, and make well-informed decisions, they ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement in IT infrastructure and services.
