A DURO Consulting client is seeking an IT Security Administrator (m/f).
Job Location: Luxembourg
Under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager, this position is responsible for administering and maintaining security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as well as providing backup and support of customer's IT environment.
You can expect to apply your skills and qualifications through the following key accountabilities:
- Maintain the content and distribution of the IT Security Policies including training and ongoing communication with customers stakeholders
- Assist with identifying company-wide information security needs and collaborate with colleagues and customers to implement solutions
- Assist with problem management activities; provide 1st and 2nd level technical support
- Research, identify, evaluate and recommend security solutions, standards, and policies and procedures that protect information assets
- Audit systems, event logs, and processes; analyzes security-related events in conjunction with the best practices
- Administer and maintain the Active Directory for corporate network access rights; group policy management, patch management, endpoint management, mobile device management
- Review existing applications periodically; evaluate new applications prior to installation; proof-of-concepts
- Implement and administer system and network security controls, including reviewing the configuration of firewall and proxy settings
- Develop change requests including implementation, communication, testing and backout plans
- Assist in improving Incident Response Plan, in collaboration with other corporate and operational departments
- Assist in IT audit responses and implementation of remediation steps based on findings
- Identify opportunities and proposes solutions for continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Build strong working relationships with guests and employees and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed

- Suitable combination of education and experience
- Ability to exceed customer expectations through timely, effective and positive service-oriented communication
- Proven experience with IT Security
- Proven troubleshooting experience for O/S, application, network, workstation and laptop technologies
LOCATION: Luxembourg (no remoter or telecommuting)
