About the role
We're looking for a proactive IT Field Support Engineer (L1) who enjoys hands-on technical problem solving and working directly with end users. In this role, you'll provide on-site support for enterprise IT environments, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Based primarily at a client location in Pardubice, you'll play a key role in maintaining workplace technology and supporting business operations.
What you'll do
- Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents independently
- Perform parts replacement, equipment repairs, upgrades, and deployments
- Troubleshoot Windows-based environments and end-user devices
- Prioritize incidents based on business impact and customer needs
- Identify potential issues before they affect users and take corrective action
- Escalate complex problems with clear technical documentation when required
- Work effectively in diverse customer environments, including mixed-vendor and legacy infrastructures
- Deliver a high-quality support experience directly to end users and client stakeholders
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years of experience in desktop support, field support, or IT operations
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience supporting desktop, laptop, and printer technologies
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Fluent Czech language skills
- English language skills are beneficial
- Experience in enterprise IT environments is an advantage
- Comfortable working on-site and occasionally travelling when required
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- The person must be physically able to do normal office tasks, including occasionally lifting or moving items that can weigh up to 23 kg.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
