IT Engineer Expert Network

The Information Technology Engineer Expert Network will be responsible for implementing new solutions and optimizing existing hardware and software solutions. The holder of this position will oversee the execution and implementation of individual system solutions. In addition to quality assurance, the IT Expert Engineer also pays attention to the cost-effectiveness of the infrastructure concerned, analyzes and evaluates the various operating processes.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Support an enterprise-wide network infrastructure for complex systems and interconnected technologies for availability, security, utilization, and optimal performance in a global team.
• Implement new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment
• Maximize / optimize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and failures, and planning upgrades
• Investigate errors in the data network in local and large-scale environments using information from different sources
• Secure network systems by setting and enforcing policies
• Configure routing and switching devices and remote maintenance support from on-site engineers
• Working in a global team regarding execution of duties and projects

 

Qualification & Skills:

• Master degree in information technology or a comparable qualification
• Proven professional experience of at least 3 years as network engineer
• Knowledge of routing and switching network technologies such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, 802.1X, HSRP, VRRP, WLAN, NAC, SDWAN or DDI
• In-depth knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol IPv4 / IPv6
• Programming knowledge in, for example Python is beneficial
• CCNA and CCNP or equivalent certification advantageous
• Fluent business English (level B2/1)
