Job Description: 

The Construction Project / Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and facility infrastructure projects while fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. This role oversees all phases of project delivery, from scope definition and budgeting through design review, construction management, commissioning, and project closeout.
The Construction Project / Program Manager works closely with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed in alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, regulatory standards, and approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Lead and coordinate construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through construction and final handover.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, consultants, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and execute project contracting and procurement strategies.
• Monitor project performance, budget, schedule, risks, and quality metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Review civil, structural, architectural (CSA), mechanical, electrical, and process designs to ensure alignment with project requirements and operational objectives.
• Manage project change control processes, ensuring all scope, cost, and schedule changes are properly evaluated, documented, and approved.
• Oversee site planning, infrastructure requirements, equipment layouts, and construction documentation.
• Drive issue resolution through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting mechanisms, and performance indicators to communicate project health and progress.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing potential impacts to safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Communicate project status, key milestones, risks, and business impacts to leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure successful project commissioning, operational readiness, and project closeout.
 

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Capabilities

• B.A or Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil engineering, Industrial and Management engineering or a related field.

• Strong construction project and program management expertise.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, contractor management, and project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Advanced planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control skills.
• Experience with risk management, change management, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management, global interfaces with WG/forums, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools, reporting systems, and construction management software.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and project execution discipline.
• Strong leadership capability with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and results.

Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, PMI-PgMP, CCM, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex facilities, space planning, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of commissioning, operational readiness, and facility startup processes.
