IS Administrator (Linux)

We’re looking for an IS (Linux) Administrator to join us at Telia.

I’m Andrius Sorkinas, Manager of the Linux Platforms Team, and I’m searching for a professional ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team dedicated to designing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise Linux environments and critical infrastructure for our largest clients.
 

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems (Alma Linux, Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Investigate and resolve incidents and technical issues
• Deploy, configure, and optimize infrastructure services
• Participate in system upgrades and migration projects
• Automate routine operational tasks
• Work together with senior engineers to design and improve solutions
• Continuously learn new technologies and best practices
 

• Experience administering Linux systems in production environments
• Experience with databases: MySQL, MariaDB (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Hands-on practice with Nginx/Apache and shell scripting
• Good knowledge of English and Lithuanian (spoken and written)
• Nice to have: experience with automation (Ansible) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus)

Monthly salary range for this position: 2720–4080 EUR (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Final offer may vary depending on your skills and experience.
