Being a member of the investment team based in Yangon for Myanmar Investments Limited (“MIL”) responsible for evaluating, structuring, closing and monitoring investments for MIL.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.Conduct preliminary assessment and evaluation of investment opportunities.

2.Conduct macro-economic and sector research as part of the investment process.

3.Track and keep the investment team updated on Myanmar government legislation relevant to MIL and its activities.

4.Assist in the preparation of investment reports.

5.Assist in the negotiations and documentation of agreements

6.Assist in the preparation of investment proposals to the Investment Committee

7.Assist in the creation and evaluation of financial models on investment targets.

8.Assist in due diligence exercises on investment targets.

9.Assist in the monitoring and management of investee companies.

10.Assist in the maintenance of a research and information database

Fluent Myanmar

 

Good command of English

MBA, CFA, accounting or legal qualification

 

At least 5 years of work experience preferably overseas

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, independently and in a small team.
