Apply to this jobThe Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for balancing daily inventory levels between our warehouse and store locations. The role involves monitoring stock quantities, analyzing sales trends to identify high-demand items, and ensuring we are adequately stocked to meet customer demand. This individual will also play a key role in forecasting inventory needs to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and manage inventory levels between the warehouse and stores.
2. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
3. Analyze sales data to identify high-demand products and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
4. Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to predict future inventory needs.
5. Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely restocking of inventory.
6. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize inventory management. 7. Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
8. Generate regular reports on inventory status and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, inventory management, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with other departments.
