You are currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject? Are you a curious and innovative person who is keen on solving complex problems? At Infineon's Information Technology (IT) department, we drive digitalization: The IT team shapes the digital world by continuously working on business-oriented IT solutions. Our team in Klagenfurt is looking forward to receiving your application!

In your new role you will:
  • Develop frontend components for applications based on the React Framework
  • Implement backend APIs and components in .Net Core / C#
  • Establish test cases and support test automation cases using Playwright
  • Integrate Large Language Model (LLMs) in applications for user prompting and interaction

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months


You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any technical study with focus on Software Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
  • Experience in developing .Net Core / C# and JavaScript programs
  • Expertise in React and other JavaScript frameworks is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Agility in learning new technologies and concepts
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf.
