Internship: Ultrasound Technology (f/m/div)

You are a student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Physics, Technical Mathematics, IT or similar and are looking for a new exciting student job? With this internship we offer you the chance to apply theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

In your new role you will:

• Tackle the field of Acoustic/Ultrasound/Photoacoustic MEMS Systems (micro-electromechanical systems) for imaging applications, with the goal of exploring modern tools in fields like the MathWorks Medical Imaging Toolbox
• Target system demonstrators based on MEMS products and multichannel signal processing platforms, which will allow you to gain experience in hardware design
• Participate and contribute to integrated circuit design and simulation as well as MEMS development activities at the edge of current technology in a global semiconductor leader like ours

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months


You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Physics, Technical Mathematics, IT or similar technical study. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Motivation and you are eager to gain experience and knowledge in the convergence point of different technical areas
• Strong ability to work self-driven and independently, in a structured and accurate manner
• Teamplaying and strong communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf.
