Internship - Power Electronics Design

As part of technical marketing in sales & marketing department and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, You will undertake projects working on Infineon's power management controller and power devices.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Design one power converter from circuit simulation to key component selection.
• Implement hardware design by draw schematic, PCB layout and assembly.
• Debug and test power board performance such as efficiency, thermal, circuit waveform.
• Compile test result and generate technical reports.

Internship Learning Oucomes:

• Understand the fundmental knowledge of power electronics.
• Gain the experience of designing & testing power converters.
• Learn the usage of test equipment and lab safety requirements.
• Learn Infineon power management products and its applications.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• On track to attain Bachelor in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a research-oriented mindset.
• Have basic knowledge of analogue & digital electronics.
• Have a strong interest in power electronics.
• Willing to explore high voltage test environments.
