Your Role

  • Conducting, evaluating, and presenting experiments related to photonic integrated circuits

  • Evaluating achievable specifications using analytical methods

  • Deriving critical system parameters based on an understanding of the system and the results

  • Researching and evaluating relevant literature and commercially available solutions

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in a Master’s program in Physics, Photonics, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable and achieving outstanding academic results

  • Experience in a photonics laboratory

  • Knowledge in the field of integrated photonics or electro-optic modulators is a plus

  • Excellent skills in organization, problem-solving, communication (English and/or German), and innovation

  • A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies, as well as the motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
