Internship - Industrial Engineering

As a member of Industrial Engineering team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, candidate shall be focusing on workplace design standardization and layout development projects for both existing and future new buildings. The intern will collaborate with a dynamic team of stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and productivity through optimized workspace layouts.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Analyzing current workplace layouts and identifying areas for improvement 
• Supporting implementation of layout and tool design changes 
• Development of standardized catalogue on work place design and tooling specification 
• Planning and support on the implementation of production equipment move-in and relocation, ensuring timely support on production ramp-up requirement

Internship learning outcomes:

• Understanding of industrial engineering principles in workspace optimization and efficiency improvements through layout planning
• Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world layout design projects, working on both existing and new building plans 
• Enhance problem-solving skills by identifying issues in current layouts and devising innovative solutions to address these challenges 
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, improving communication and teamwork skills essential for successful project execution

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree 3rd or 4th year in engineering 
• 6 months internship commitment period
• Basic understanding and experience with AutoCAD, able to read and understand CAD drawings 
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges logically and creatively 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, present findings, and collaborate with team members
