Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $20.50 per hour
Maximum of $30.50 per hour
Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.

In your new role you will:
- Assist in the design and development of isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters (e.g., buck, boost, buck-boost, flyback, etc.).
- Perform circuit simulations using tools such as LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink to validate designs.
- Build and test prototype circuits in the lab, including conducting board-level validation, efficiency analysis, and thermal profiling.
- Support PCB layout efforts and component selection to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and firmware engineers, to ensure design integration.
- Document design changes, test results, and key calculations for internal review and knowledge sharing.
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of power electronics fundamentals, including converter topologies (e.g., buck, boost, buck-boost) and control methods.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools, such as LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs, including lab skills for testing and debugging switch-mode power supplies.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
- Experience with breadboarding and soldering, as well as prototyping skills.
- Basic knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, Eagle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or project experience in power converter design.
- Familiarity with digital or analog control of power supplies.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations in converter design for improved performance and compliance.
