Internship - ASIC RTL/Digital Design

This opening is part of Infineon’s Internship program. The Internship Program gives you the opportunity to gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced leaders to power your career.

In your new role you will:

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to write Python scripts aimed at automating semiconductor chip testing and validation processes
• Work closely with the team to generate application notes (appnotes) and validate graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for customers, ensuring they can efficiently use our controllers

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Actively pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a relevant major
• Relevant coursework in digital design, semiconductor devices, power electronics, and programming
• Additional certifications in Python programming or digital signal processing
• Experience in troubleshooting buck converter evaluation boards
• Hands-on experience with bench equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
• Looking for a 6-month to 1-year internship

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $20.50 per hour
Maximum of $30.50 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
