About the job:

  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe practices & incidents.
  • • Show sufficient product knowledge of a key product line.
  • • Prepare the service job for efficient execution, based on the SOP of the job.
  • • Travel to service jobs on board vessels, including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed.
  • • Execute maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning or other services.
  • • Communicate well with customers in English.
  • • Document work and conclusions while on board and get service report signed by the customer.
  • Give advice to customer and pass information on to own organization.
  • Reports daily progress to IMS Global Technical Specialist and Global Coordinator
  • Instructions to crew about cause of trouble and updates
  • Timely submission of time sheets, expense reports, etc.

What you know:

Marine Engineering background with good hands-on electrical skills;

Minimum 2 years of marine, vessels, commissioning experience for comparable installations;

Fluent in English.
