About this role:

As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will take care of a mostly geriatric population. You’ll use your medical expertise to care for patients with comorbidities and complex health needs. The patient volume for this clinic is 15-18 patients/day.

• This position includes a $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable
• Also included is a residency stipend of up to $18,000 over two years for physicians completing training
• You will practice at Cedar City Clinic. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm.
• Your hours will be 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts
• You will be on call 1 week every 3 weeks

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Known as Festival City USA, Cedar City, UT offers constant opportunity for Internal-friendly fun and entertaining events. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation’s largest concentration of national parks. Nearby recreational activities include camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre. Cedar City is also home to Southern Utah University.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$7.25 - $999.99
