Internal Auditor

We are currently searching for:

Location: Jos (REF: IAJ)

Lagos: (REF: IAL).

 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the head. Internal audit

Carry out audit of business units in accordance with international auditing guidelines and UACN laid down accounting/auditing policies and procedures and thus from an audit opinion.

Make appropriate and practical recommendations to unit management on lapses noted during audit.

Carry out special investigation/adhoc assignments as may be required by management.

Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and provide reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of control in place of minimize risks.

 

The ideal candidates must have the following qualifications.

B.Sc Accounting/HND accountancy in addition to a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA etc).

6 years post qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing company

Knowledge of risk and control environments will be essential.
