PwC Malaysia’s Capital Investment & Green Incentives (CIGI) team helps organisations identify, apply for, and manage tax incentives, government grants, and sustainability‑related incentives. As a CIGI Intern, you will gain exposure to advisory work at the intersection of tax, investment strategy, and sustainability.

This role offers hands‑on experience supporting real client engagements across various industries, including manufacturing, services, and green/ESG‑related projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a CIGI Intern, you will:

  • Assist in researching tax incentives, grants, and investment allowance schemes under Malaysian regulations

  • Support the preparation of incentive applications, submissions, and supporting documentation

  • Help analyse capital expenditure (CAPEX), financial data, and investment plans

  • Conduct research on green and sustainability‑related incentives, policies, and regulatory updates

  • Assist with compliance reporting and post‑approval requirements

  • Prepare working papers, reports, and presentation materials for internal and client use

  • Work closely with team members to support ongoing advisory engagements

  • Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as required
