Here's what some of our recent Software Developer interns had to say about their experiences:
'My co-op at Acme has been one of the best experiences of my life so far. As a dev, I was exposed to the entire software stack and had the freedom to experiment with a myriad of frameworks, API's, and languages.Additionally, Acme entrusted me with as much responsibility as the full time devs. As a result, I learned more about software and technology and developed more professional skills than from any class. All my co-workers were so friendly, chill, and just plain awesome, and my work was always challenging. Finally, everyone *must* live in LA/Santa Monica at least once in their lifetime; the stories from my time there still fuel conversations today'.
-Sohan, Software Developer Co-op, Advertising Operations & Reporting
'I tackled nearly every language at Acme: Ruby, Flex, Flash, Python, C#. I had a great manager who was always available to help, and special thanks to Professor 'X' who mentored me on coding. My summer with Acme was an incredible time, better than I could have imagined!'
-Michael, Software Developer Intern, Advertising Platform Team
'Brain spray awesome' doesn't just describe the Acme website, it's also extends to their internships. From the constantly stocked kitchen to the Six Flags trip to the paintball events, Acme took good care of its interns. I felt like part of the group, contributing to the company, not just a visiting intern. I got to design my own database. It was a great opportunity to get my hands dirty. I learned SQL, C#, Flex and ActionScript. And, I was impressed at how such a small team can build such a great operation'.
