Summary Description

This internship position is audio-focused and based in the Taipei office. It aims to support PC system licensees in completing audio certification tests and performing speaker tuning using Dolby audio technologies. You will learn and experience the audio magic that Dolby brings to customers and understand how we ensure audio quality for the final products.

Essential Job Functions

• Windows driver and UI installation and perform basic function testing.
• Execute manual/automatic test cases, analyze fail cases, and write test reports.
• Perform acoustic measurement with Sound Check equipment.
• Tuning the PC speakers by using Dolby sound technology.
• Miscellaneous projects (product check-in/disposition, prototype construction, equipment maintenance, test labs organization/maintenance, etc.). 

Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required

• Bachelor/master’s degrees in Electronical Engineering, Computer Science, or Audio Engineering fields.
• Able to intern at least 2 days a week for six consecutive months or more.
• Good communication skills and understand English documents.
• Interest in music, music production, film, film production, AV production, recording engineering, broadcast engineering, or acoustics is desirable.
