Job description

Medical Affairs is a key organization of scientific excellence that contributes to transform treatment landscape and ease of access to cares by generating critical clinical evidence and educating relevant science to external or internal customers/stakeholders. All activities by Medical Affairs lead to impact patients’ lives and quality of life.  Within Medical Affairs function, you will be able to gain professional experience where you combine all of science, engineering and business into our Medical Affairs project or activities.

How you will make an impact:

  • You will be assigned to one or two studies/projects in THV and/or TMTT business and work with relevant Medical Affairs and internal Edwards colleagues and external principal investigators to generate clinical evidence by:
  • Designing study, planning refinement or drafting key documents;
  • Providing appropriate scientific comments to draft manuscripts or abstracts
  • Analyzing and interpreting received data or reported results and preparing next actions or feedback
  • Coordinate and support Round Table Discussion / Advisory Board meetings
  • Support scientific exchanges with KOLs via medical congresses or other touch points
  • Summarize flash reports and digest to prepare articles of key presentations from medical congresses
  • Support and conduct product material reviews with new Veeva system
  • Pilot and achieve milestones of operational excellence project with new AI system

What you'll need (Required):

  • Completed 4-years college / university program in Bachelor of Science (BS)
  • Participating graduate degree program (Master or Ph.D.) or above
  • Basic scientific knowledge in biology, chemistry, engineering and statistics
  • Good scientific writing skills for consolidating and drafting reports and actions
  • Leadership behaviour, thinking and skills with a self-starter and collaborative mindset to achieve results / milestones
  • Coordination and project management skills with different people and functions from various expertise
